Duchess Kate of Cambridge continues her reign at the summit of the style charts – topping Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed list.

Judges at the style bible loved the Duchess’ championing of British designers and high street brands.

The wife of Prince William topped a varied list – including rapper Jay Z (5), actor Richard E Grant (12) and Chinese actress Fan Bingbing (9).

Eighty three-year-old talk show host Bill Cummingham was third.

But princess Catherine was not the only royal on this year’s list.

Prince Harry - her husband’s brother- was placed 28th.

Meanwhile, foreign royalty provided some competition, with Monaco’s Charlotte Casiraghi in 36th, crown princess Mary of Denmark was 33rd, and Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser of Qatar, was 38th.

The chart is published in the September edition of Vanity Fair magazine.
