Chelsea girl Pippa Middleton set out to prove she is her own woman by penning herself a book about throwing party - rejecting a flood of offers from ghost-writers.

“Celebrate” is due to hit the selves in October.

A royal source told Look magazine: “She was offered a whole host of ghost writers but said no to them all and is very proud that it is all her own work.

“I just don’t think she appreciated how much work it would take and may need some help from her editors.”

There were fears Pippa would be forbidden from promoting the title, in case it embarrassed Kate, her royal sister.

But the promotional tour shall go ahead, provided royal advisors are kept abreast of events.

Pippa rocketed to fame as maid of honour at Kate’s wedding to Prince William, last year.
