By The Sea festival at Dreamland announce second wave of artists

British Sea Power, HMLTD, and Girl Ray will be among acts performing

Following the news that By The Sea has secured Everything Everything, Metronomy, and The Libertines as its headliners for 2017, the festival has just announced a second wave of artists.

Indie rock band from Brighton, British Sea Power will be playing their recent album Let The Dancer Inherit The Party, and will be joined by folk rock star Marika Hackman whose current album I’m Not Your Man tackles issues around femininity, and sexual identity.

Alternative London band HMLTD have also been announced, with Dream Wife and their pop and punk tunes.

Girl Ray will be documenting their dramas of adolscence, with songs from their debut album Earl Grey due to be released August 4.

All-female singing collective, the Deep Throat Choir, formed by Luisa Gerstein, previously a member of Landscapes and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs will be performing their intricate vocal harmonies showcased in their debut album Be Ok. The album conbines their originals alongside arrangements of songs by artists including Electrelane, Wildbirds, and Peacedrums.
