The concerts will take place every Sunday until the end of August

Dartford’s summer season of free concerts at the bandstand in Central Park gets underway this Sunday, May 1.

Featuring jazz, brass and steel bands, the concerts will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer (except Festival weekend) until August 28.

Councillor Jeremy Kite, leader of the council, said, “The Bandstand Concerts are always hugely popular and there’s nothing nicer than sitting in the sunshine with a cup of tea or an ice-cream and enjoying the sounds of the band on a Sunday afternoon. I look forward to seeing you there!”
