Band, This Way to the Egress, have announced dates of their first ever UK tour, which will be stopping in Deal this August.

Their tour will preceed the release of their upcoming album Onward! Up A Frightening Creek on September 22.

Hailing from Pennsylvania, This Way to the Egress, members comprise of an array of backgrounds, so their music mixes elements of punk, brass, cabaret, klezmer, swing, and rock.

The six-person band described their album as an ode to “moving forward in the face of adversity”.

They’ll be at Deal’s Lighthouse on August 12.
