Former Tory minister turned writer and TV presenter will appear at Revelation

Former government minister, turned writer and TV presenter, Michael Portillo, will be talking about his life at a special event in Ashford later this month.

The man who was once tipped to become the next prime minister, but became the most high profile of casualties in the 1997 election for the Conservatives, will be appearing at Revelation on October 20 .

He will deliver a talk on his intriguing life in Life: A Game of Two Halves.

Recounting highlights from his infamous 20 year career in politics, from securing a seat in the Commons, earning the title of favoured leader of his party and possible future prime minister, to his most recent great adventure as a writer and broadcaster, it is set to be an entertaining evening.

The event will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £17 in advance, or £20 on the door.
