This is the first summer youth project held at the theatre

Take a magical trip along the yellow brick road from August 24-26 with the Churchill Theatre’s Summer Youth Project, The Wizard of Oz.

This story by Frank L. Baum, with music and lyrics of the MGM motion picture score by Harold Arlan and E.Y Harburg, will transport the audience into a world of technicolour featuring spectacular sets, full orchestration and a cast of 120 young people.

Join Dorothy and her unlikely set of new friends, the Lion, The Tin Man and The Scarecrow, as they make their journey to the wonderful land of Oz to meet the Wizard whom, they hope, will give them their hearts desire.

But journeys can be perilous, and dangers lurk at every corner, so Dorothy and her friends must face their fears and outwit the deadly Witch of the West if they are to reach the Emerald City in time.
