He’s known for roles in Hollyoaks and Casualty

Former Casualty and Hollyoaks star James Redmond is the headline act at the first comedy club night of 2017 at the Old Brewery Store in Faversham.

James made his name as a model and actor and is best known for roles in Hollyoaks (Channel 4) and Casualty (BBC1) and presenting SM:TV and CD:UK (ITV), alongside Cat Deeley. He has appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2), Celebrity Come Dine With Me (Channel 4) with fellow comedians Paul Foot and Joey Page, and is a regular guest and contributor on Soccer AM (Sky 1) and Radio 5 Live.

His humour is described as a dry, slick and subtle stand up which delivers unexpected twists and turns.

Kate Copstick, reviewing his Edinburgh Festival debut in 2010, said: “Fresh-off-the-telly James Redmond has the makings of a really good comic. His tales of texting, girlfriends and Barry from Bristol are quality stuff.”

The night will be hosted by Sam Wyatt, with performances from Jason Simmons (from Erith), Gareth Dorrian (from Maidstone) and Bentley Browning, and our two “Introducing…” acts for the evening are Neil O’Rourke and Will Robbins.

The night will take place on February 2, and begins at 7.30pm

Advance tickets cost £7.50 and can be purchased by calling the box office on 01795 542285, and in person at the Brewery Shop (Court Street, Faversham).

Date: Thursday 2nd February 2017

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
