X Factor bosses must hold a Spice Girls themed week, Mel C has insisted.
The call by sporty spice comes after the 90s pop supe-group reunited for the London Olympics closing ceremony, earlier this month.
She would be even welcome contestents givinga modern twist to tunes like ‘Wannabe,’ ‘Stop’ and ‘Spiceworld.’
Thirty-eight-year-old Mel said: “It’s about time they had a Spice Girl themed week.
“As we’ve seen with Kye and James, it’s possible to deconstruct a song and make it your own.
“I’d love to see our songs performed on the show.”
Mel C, who is currently playing a biblical prostitute in stage show Superstar, also defended Mel B for her appearance on the show.
Scary Spice drew flak for nearly reducing to tears one elderly contestant with her sharp tongue.
“She’s brutally honest and telling it like it is. I love her bluntness although I wouldn’t have the guts to say what she does,” said Mel C.
“She’s like a good-looking version of Simon Cowell.”
