Portuguese wants to face his old club

Jose Mourinho would love for his Real Madrid side to draw old club Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Spaniards were comfortable 5-2 aggregate winners over CSKA Moscow following their 4-1 triumph at the Bernabeu and following Chelsea’s dramatic extra time triumph over Napoli, the Portuguese is keen to draw the Blues in the last eight.

“People can’t understand how much I love Chelsea and I know if I get them in the quarter-finals or the semi-finals, they would be great opponents,” said Mourinho, who has been widely-tipped to retake the reins at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

“I’m happy Chelsea have got through, but I’d love to play them in the final.”

Mourinho managed Chelsea between 2004 and 2007, leading the west Londoners to two Premier League titles.
