Just one defeat in 18 makes Burman a happy man
Dartford manager Tony Burman admits his side’s stunning form so far this year has taken the pressure off him signing new players.
The Darts boss has been keeping tabs on several targets since selling striker Charlie Sheringham to Bournemouth last October.
Jacon Erskine has been the only outfield player to secure a permanent deal so far.
But with the Blue Square Bet South side winning all seven games in January as they extended their run to just one defeat in 18 outings, the need for new recruits has not been pressing.
Happy
Burman said: “We’re quite happy with what we’ve got at the moment and the squad is taking care of itself.
“We’re always looking to improve and if one of our targets becomes available we’ll make the move.
“But we also like to develop the players we already have and our results prove we’re capable of doing that.
“The whole team has been playing really well.”
