A 17-year-old boy allegedly attempted to grab the Olympic torch in Gravesend in front of hundreds of people this morning.

A 17-year-old boy allegedly attempted to grab the Olympic torch in Gravesend in front of hundreds of people this morning.

These dramatic pictures show London 2012 officials divert any danger for both the torch and the carrier as the teenager was arrested on Rochester Road.

The torchbearer at the time was Ms Skora who was about to pass the famous flame to Graham White, a Surrey charity worker.
