A signed diversion will be in place

Motorists travelling from the county into Essex overnight next week are set to face disruption at the Dartford Crossing.

Starting from Monday onwards, the northbound east tunnel will be closed from 8.30pm to 5.30am for improvement works.

On Friday night the tunnel is set to close from 9pm to 5.30am.

The following night the northbound west tunnel will be closed from 8.30pm to 6am, while on Sunday night the east tunnel will be closed again from 8.30pm to 5.30am.

The QEII Bridge will have three (of four) lanes closed, overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday October 3 for five nights. Work on Friday will start at 11pm.

A diversion will be in place for oversized vehicles.
