Appeal for information following Dartford Co-op robbery

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is appealing for information following a report of a robbery at a store in Dartford.

Officers were called to the Co-op store, in Colney Road, just after 10pm on Thursday May 17 following a report that a man threatened staff with what appeared to be a handgun before leaving with a quantity of cigarettes and money.

The suspect, who had left the scene on foot, is described as being around 6ft tall and of medium build.

He was wearing dark clothing at the time.

No one was hurt during the incident, and investigating officers would like to speak with anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information regarding the incident.

Witnesses are asked to call Kent Police on 01303 289600 quoting XY/29338/18.
