Appeal launched after Gravesend crash leaves woman in her 30s with serious injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Gravesend left a woman in her 30s with serious injuries.

The incident happened at 8am on Friday, September 16 on Darnley Road at its junction with Weavers Close, where there was a collision involving a black Mercedes Benz car and a female pedestrian.

Police officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service went to the scene and the pedestrian was taken to a London hospital.

Anybody who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Kent Police on 01474 366 149 quoting reference 16-0229.
