AN ADVENTUROUS actor has been held up in Australia forcing him to postpone the date of his book singing.

Charley Boorman will be at Waterstones in Bluewater to sign copies of Right to the Edge, which accompanies his new major six-part BBC series, on Saturday, November 14 from 12.30pm.

He was due to go to the Greenhithe centre the week before, but now has 'commitments' in Australia.

In the book, Ewan McGregor's best friend, details his journey from Sydney to Tokyo via the Pacific Rim - using any possible means of transport.

These include quad bikes, hovercrafts, wooden scooters, canoes, paragliders and of course his favourite mode of transport - motorbike to travel through some of the most exotic and exciting countries in the world.

This latest adventure from the father-of-two daughters comes after last year's enormous bestseller By Any Means.

n Right to the Edge was published in hardback last Thursday and costs £18.99.
