BREAKING: Two people injured in A2 crash as lorry overturns

The A2 London-bound carriageway is closed between Pepper Hill and Ebbsfleet after a car transporter lorry overturned, sending several vehicles flying across the road.

Two people are thought to be injured so far- the lorry driver and a motorist.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area as two lanes of the coastbound carriageway are also closed. Traffic diversions are through Dartford.

The collision happened just before 3pm today. The road is expected to be closed for a significant period of time.
