Dartford men Daniel Burgess and Perry Lee Sutton plead not guilty to murder of Marcus Innocent

Dartford men Daniel Burgess and Perry Lee Sutton were among nine defendants who pleaded not guilty to the murder of Marcus Innocent in court yesterday.

Burgess, 32, of Weardale Avenue, and Sutton, 24, of Green Street Green Road, appeared at the Old Bailey.

Mr Innocent, 35, was killed in Woolwich last November following a dispute with up to 20 people.

He died from a single bullet wound to the stomach.

A tenth man, Kelie-Ray Birch, 19, of Corelli Road, Kidbrooke, was charged with murder yesterday and is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court later today.

The trial for the other men was set for September 9 at the Old Bailey.
