Kelly Grehan, 38, and Sarah Crook, 40, have set up the Dartford Deeds Not Words Foundation, in order to supply toys, toiletries and supplies for the community.

After the Dartford Toy Appeal, the Dartford Red Box and the Dartford Litterpickers were set up, Kelly and Sarah decided to bring the foundations together, creating the Dartford Deeds Not Words Foundation.

Co-chair Kelly Grehan said: “Dartford Deeds Not Words has all come about organically; we started the Toy Appeal intending it as a small project to do something nice for a few children and it has grown so that last Christmas we received around 1500 gifts.”

Earlier this year, the Dartford Deeds Not Words Foundation was awarded a grant from Stone Parish Council.

Co-chair Sarah Crook added: “We are so excited to build on the projects we already do.”
