David Cameron will be at Bluewater in Greenhithe today

Prime Minister David Cameron is expected to arrive at Bluewater in Greenhithe this afternoon where he will give a speech on benefit reform.

Plans include scrapping housing benefit for under-25s in a bid to save £2bn a year.

Unemployment for those aged 18-24 is almost 20 per cent.

ARMY RESERVE MEDIC SAVED NUMEROUS AFGHAN SOLDIERS

A BROMLEY Army Reserve Medic with no prior combat experience who saved Afghan soldiersÕ lives by taking control of a mass casualty situation is to be awarded the QueenÕs Commendation for Valuable Service.

Private Benjamin Spittle, a Reservist with 335 Medical Evacuation Regiment, the Royal Army Medical Corps, who has since been promoted to Corporal, showed incredible skill and composure to deal with numerous life-threatening injuries in the most basic of makeshift medical facilities.
