Step into the Christmas spirit with ice skating, festive fairs and parades.

This weekend (December 2 and 3), Gravesend will be hosting its second frost fair, titled ‘All Things Magical’, featuring a variety of activities for all the family.

An all-day market and ice skating will run on both days, as will musical performances from talents including Gifted Young Gravesham participants.

Saturday will feature a magic-themed parade from New Road to the ice rink, led by Harry Potter characters. Visitors are encouraged to join the walk at 11.30am in fancy dress, with theme suggestions Harry Potter, princesses and superheroes.

On Saturday afternoon, families can enjoy music from Gravesend Rock Choir and the Women of Faith Choir at Market Square. Roving magicians Lucky Lee and Darren Dollman will also be wandering the market.
