The star of this year’s Christmas panto has been announced.

Union J star JJ (Jamie Paul “JJ” Hamblett) 30, will be taking on the role of Peter Pan at The Woodville, Wrotham Road this Christmas.

Union J, who shot to stardom after appearing on the X Factor, released their debut single Carry You in June 2013 and their first album shortly after.

JJ said: “I am super excited to be playing Peter Pan this year in Gravesend, I have always wanted to fly!

“I can’t wait to see you all there, it’s going to be awesome.”

JJ will join Woodville favourite Robert Pearce who is returning to Gravesend this year to play the hilarious pirate dame ‘Mrs Smee’.
