The St George’s School pupil from Gravesend said she was inspired to take action by a family member.

“I shaved my hair because I wanted to do something to change the lives of women suffering from breast cancer,” she said.

“A family member of mine is suffering and I hope she is proud of what I have done.”

Emily raised £380 as part of the Gravesend school’s festival at the end of term.
