A taxi driver was grabbed by a back seat passenger and punched by another in the front seat during a robbery on Saturday.

The alleged incident happened at about 1am in Rose Street, Northfleet, after he picked up two men and a woman at the taxi rank in New Road, Gravesend.
They asked to be dropped on Rose Street, but upon arrival, the passenger in the back seat grabbed the driver from behind, whilst the passenger on the front seat punched him whilst demanding money.
The front passenger grabbed the cash tin, containing approximately £20, and all three ran off in the direction of Ebbsfleet flats.
DC Claire Hartill, who is investigating the incident said: “This was a violent incident which has left the victim shaken and upset. We are keen to hear from anyone that may have seen the suspects in the area around the time of the incident.”
Crime Scene Investigators have examined the taxi and detectives are checking CCTV footage from the area.
The woman suspect is white, about 25-years-old, large, had blonde and red hair which was tied up and she was wearing jeans and a floral top.
Both males are white and about 25-years-old. One is stocky, about 5ft 8in, with short black hair and was wearing dark clothing.
