Andrea Madden, 29, from Denton, pleaded not guilty at Maidstone Crown Court on April 13.

A trial started on July 31 and the jury took just 50 minutes to return a guilty verdict.

Officers were called to the house on January 29 when Madden called 999 claiming that she had been attacked by her partner and had stabbed him in self defence.

They found boyfriend Royce Ali with serious injuries and he was taken to Kings Hospital in London where he received internal and external stitches.

The jury dismissed the suggestion she had struck out in defence.
