Tinkerbell, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and Shrek were some of the characters who joined Minnie and Mickie Mouse, otherwise known as Julie and Jason Webb-Flint, for their 20th wedding anniversary blessing.

The couple, both now 42, celebrated their honeymoon in Walt Disney World in Florida and when it came to reconfirming their vows one throwaway comment led to almost 90 guests joining them in Disney fancy dress.

Julie, of The Crescent, Greenhithe, said: “We thought about it jokingly but then the vicar asked if he could dress up as well.”

With Little John as the vicar and the couple’s sons dressed as Donald Duck and Goofy, Minnie and Mickie skipped down the aisle at St Mary’s Church in Greenhithe on Saturday dancing to Shrek’s I’m a Believer.
