A large amount of cash was allegedly stolen

Police investigating an alleged burglary at a temple in Gravesend have charged a second man.

The Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara was reportedly burgled between midnight and 2am on Friday, June 24.

A large amount of cash is believed to have been stolen.

Leeroy Reynolds, 34, of Goddard Way in Ilford, was arrested on Tuesday and subsequently charged with one count of burglary.

In June, Eleazar Allert of Myrtle Road, Walthamstow was charged with the same offence.

The 27-year-old pleaded not guilty and is currently awaiting trial at Maidstone Crown Curt.
