Kent Police have released an image of a pocket watch found during the search of a house.

Officers were investigating a burglary when they searched the home of a suspect in Dartford and found the pocket watch, which is described as having a chrome casing with a white face and black Roman numerals.

Detective Constable Steven Brown, investigating officer for the burglary, said: “This watch did not belong to the suspect and I would like to reunite it with its rightful owner, so if anyone does recognise it please do get in touch.

“It is quite unique on the back, so I would fully expect anyone claiming it to be theirs to know what the back looks like in order to verify it is genuinely theirs.”

Anyone with information can call Kent Police appeals line on 01474 366 149 quoting crime reference XY/000224/18.
