Man airlifted to hospital following two-vehicle crash in Northfleet

The road has been closed while enquiries take place

A man has been airlifted to hospital following a serious two-vehicle crash on Thames Way, Northfleet.

The incident occurred near the junction with Vale Road at about 11.45am, and police are currently at the scene.

Traffic is currently heavy and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.

The road has been closed while officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit carry out their initial enquiries.
