Man arrested, 14 people injured in Dartford bus collision

Kent Police have been attending an incident involving a bus and multiple vehicles in Dartford town centre this evening.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of careless driving and remains in police custody.

A total of 25 vehicles have been reported damaged. Fourteen people are reported to be walking wounded and are receiving treatment at the scene.

Officers were called at 6.48pm on Tuesday, May 29 to Hythe Street.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service are also at the scene.

The road is closed while recovery work is ongoing but is anticipated to be reopened later this evening.
