An air ambulance landed at a Gravesend leisure centre yesterday (Monday) afternoon.

Paramedics were called to Cascades Leisure centre in Thong Lane just after 2.50pm after a man collapsed.

Two ambulances and a car were at the scene along with a helicopter.

A spokesperson from Secamb said: “The man was resuscitated before being taken in a serious condition to Kings College Hospital.

“We would like to thank everyone who came to the man’s assistance at the scene.”
