MP Gareth Johnson has visited a Cash Converters in Dartford to discuss how tough economic times have affected people in the area.

He discussed how best to protect vulnerable people on the lowest incomes who may have found it hard to obtain credit and were searching for alternatives.

Mr Johnson said: “It is apparent to me and many of my constituents that the services that the company offers are useful in helping provide extra cash to individuals and families that may be experiencing short term cash flow problems.”

Manager John Colbert said: “It was great to welcome Mr Johnson to the Dartford store and give him a detailed insight into the services that we offer his constituents.”
