Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of 29-year-old James Green, of Holly Court, Northfleet.

Tommy Presley, 18, of Bankside, Northfleet, and a 17-year-old from Gravesend, who cannot be named, are remanded in custody and will appear before Dartford Magistrates’ Court today.

Police were called at around 11.10pm on Friday (22) following reports of a disturbance at Holly Court.

Officers and ambulance crews attended and found Mr Green with several stab wounds.

Despite efforts to save him, he died at the scene.

The victim and the two men arrested were known to each other, police said.

ARMY RESERVE MEDIC SAVED NUMEROUS AFGHAN SOLDIERS

A BROMLEY Army Reserve Medic with no prior combat experience who saved Afghan soldiersÕ lives by taking control of a mass casualty situation is to be awarded the QueenÕs Commendation for Valuable Service.

Private Benjamin Spittle, a Reservist with 335 Medical Evacuation Regiment, the Royal Army Medical Corps, who has since been promoted to Corporal, showed incredible skill and composure to deal with numerous life-threatening injuries in the most basic of makeshift medical facilities.
