Pair to appear in court charged with racially aggravated assault following incident at Ebbsfleet International

They are also charged with possessing a bottle of ammonia

Two men arrested after an alleged assault at the weekend are set to appear in court today.

Clive James Vivian, 32, of Cornwall Road, Dartford and Jamie Vivian, 27 from Sidcup were arrested after a taxi driver was allegedly attacked near Ebbsfleet Railway Station.

The incident was reported at 11.50am on Saturday, March 18.

Both men were remanded in custody, and will appear before Medway magistrates today charged with the following offences:

· Making off without paying the taxi fare,

· Possessing an offensive weapon (a bottle of ammonia) in a public place,

· Criminal Damage to a sun visor,

· Racially Aggravated Assault.
