Police appeal after man critically injured in Dartford crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Dartford at 4.05 pm on Monday afternoon (23).

An 86-year-old man was driving a Honda Accord which collided with a parked car at Dartford West Health Centre in Tower Road.

The man, who is from Dartford, was treated at the scene for life threatening injuries and air-lifted to Kings College Hospital in London where he remains in a critical condition.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact PC Claire Russell-Thomas from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.

Tower Road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident and was reopened just after 5.15 pm.
