Police are appealing for information after a car was set alight in a Gravesend road.
At around 10pm a fire crew was called to Cross Road where a Vauxhall Astra was engulfed in flames.
Resident Vadim Ovchinnikov described the scene: “I walked out onto the street and saw a huge fire. The car was completely burned and I saw small explosions. There was the smell of plastic.”
Police are treating the fire as suspicious.
Anyone who has any information is asked to call Kent Police on 101.
Armed robbers threatened a shopkeeper with a knife this morning at around 9.20am at Tasnim General Store in Bath Street.
