Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy is due to visit Gravesend’s Cyclopark on Wednesday
The cyclist will be riding at the track from 3pm to 4pm to test out his new brand of bikes - Hoy Bikes.
There will also be the chance for members of the public to ride along side the athlete.
Laurence Tricker, Cyclopark’s CEO, said: “We can hardly believe that this opportunity has arisen for Sir Chris to visit to our venue. These opportunities don’t come along very often and we will do all we can to ensure that he is made very welcome.
“We expect there will be many people that will wish to come and meet Sir Chris and take the opportunity to ride alongside him at this brand new venue.”
Shoppers were in for a shock when firefighters made a dramatic rescue at Bluewater, cutting an injured motorist free from an overturned crashed car.
