Police have released CCTV images after a thief took a man’s phone in Gravesend.

The victim approached by the suspect in Gravesham Court on Wednesday, August 9.

After robbing his victim of his phone, the robber walked off in the direction of Clarence Row.

Police believe the incident took place between 4pm and 4.20pm.

Following the incident, police have issued an appeal for the public’s help and for the man pictured to come forward.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident or who know the identity of the man in the images.

“If you can aid the investigation please call the appeal line on 01474 366149 quoting reference number XY/40031/17.

“Alternatively, contact Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
