Three arrested as police seize cash and cannabis from car in Gravesend

Police spotted the vehicle on Tuesday afternoon

Three men are in custody after police discovered drugs and cash inside a car on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were patrolling in Windmill Street, Gravesend, at around 3.40pm when a passing vehicle came to their attention.

A search of the car, along with two men inside, led to police finding cash and cannabis.

A 28-year-old from Greenwich and a 29-year-old from Eltham were both arrested at the scene.

Following the discovery, police carried out another search at a house in Eltham, where they discovered more cannabis and money.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man at the address at around 9pm the same day.

All three men remain in custody.
