Officers on a routine patrol in Dartford have arrested three people on suspicion of drug offences.

Police were in Darenth Road on Wednesday April 11, when a car came to their attention at around 3.20pm.

Having requested the vehicle to stop, officers then searched inside and found what was believed to be wraps of cannabis in the vehicle.

A 16-year-old girl from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and possession with intent to supply the drug.

Officers also arrested a 24-year-old man from Greenhithe for drug offences, as well as possessing a bladed article and possessing a prohibited weapon.
