Two 17-year-olds arrested for stealing motorbikes in Gravesend

Two 17-year-olds have been arrested after police received a report stating two bikes had been stolen in Gravesend.

The report was received at around 11pm on March 19 and stated the motorbikes had been stolen in Old Road West.

These were located, abandoned, in the London Road area about 15 minutes later.

Officers searched the area and two 17-year-old boys, from Dartford and Sidcup, were arrested nearby on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle.

They both remain in custody while enquiries continue.
