Police are investigating an alleged robbery of the Co-op store in the early hours of the morning.

Kent Police were called at 1.55am following after an alarm was raised at the store on Hawley Road, Dartford.

Patrols attended the scene and discovered that a glass pane had been broken and a quantity of cigarettes had been stolen.

An 18-year-old man and 20-year-old woman from Dartford were arrested a short time later on suspicion of burglary.. They have been bailed pending further enquiries until March 23, 2012.
