Victim in his 60s taken to hospital after Dartford burglary

A Dartford man was taken to hospital after a burglar stormed into his home on Saturday night.

The victim, a man in his 60s, had his front door forced open in Browning Road shortly before 8.30pm.

Once inside, the suspect, described as white, muscular and around 5ft 10in, stole jewellery from the property.

His victim “was not seriously injured but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution,” according to a Kent Police.

Officers investigating the incident are now urging anyone with information to come forward.
