A film following the true story of Britain’s largest ever robbery is being released tomorrow, two years after the event.

The Hatton Garden Job stars Phil Daniels and Larry Lamb as the heist’s mastermind, Dartford’s Brian Reader.

In April 2015, the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company, an underground safe deposit facility in London’s Hatton Garden area, was burgled.

The case gained national attention, not only for the £25million predicted loot the thieves made off with, but also because of the age of those involved.

Ringleader Brian Reader was 76-years-old when police arrested him in 2015, while three other men involved were retired or near retirement.

Initial reports suggested £14million had been stolen in the raid, but in January, new evidence revealed the figure could be closer to £25million.

The Hatton Garden Job is showing at Cineworld Greenwich at 5pm on Friday, April 14.
