Fire fighters were called to the scene

A woman trapped by a crash in South Darenth today (Thursday) has been rushed to hospital.

Fire fighters were called to Gills Road just after 11.30am today, after a two-car crash.

Once they arrived, crews used hydraulic equipment to rescue a woman trapped inside one of the vehicles.

She was then passed into the care of Secamb paramedics.

Fire fighters then left the scene at around 12.40pm.
