The Official opening of Istead Rise Community Centre

FOOTBALL legend Sir Trevor Brooking has officially opened the Istead Rise Community Centre.
The former West Ham and England star, currently the Football Association's (FA's) director of football, visited the centre on Monday January 12, almost two years after it was gutted by arsonists.
Pupils from nearby Istead Rise Primary School took part in an inter-house five-a-side football tournament at the event attended by Mike Snelling, Gravesham Borough Council leader, Mayor Ken Jones and his wife Evelyn.
Representatives of the centre also attended.
