London-based trio GMD3 wowed the judging panel of the show when they auditioned recently.

Members Greg West, 17, Michael Parsons, 17, and 19-year-old Dan Ferrari-Lane are the best boy band hopefuls on the show.

The stunning success of One Direction suggests a huge appetite in the market for non-threatening boys who sing sweetly.

Fellow hopefuls JukeBoxx already dazzled the judges during their audition.

One audience member who witnessed GMD3’s audition, said: “Everyone was impressed, the crowd were on their feet. They sang original songs and had great choreography. They could win this.”

Another added: “They were the stand-out act.”
