Nineties stars headline Gravesham festival

The event will feature music, food and drink and a Country Fayre
Nineties favourites B*Witched are set to entertain thousands at the weekend as they headline this year’s Gravesham Riverside Festival. ]
The Irish quartet, who became famous for catchy singles such as C’est La Vie and Rollercoaster, top the billing on an afternoon of live music, funfair rides and food and drink.
Tribute acts to David Bowie, Take that, UB40 and Justin Bieber will also perform throughout the afternoon at Gravesend’s Gordon Promenade.
Visitors will also be able to try their hand at juggling and other activities at a circus workshop held in two big tops.
Young traders are set to try out their skills at the Interface Experience, while an information point will provide useful tips for budding entrepreneurs.
The Country Fayre on the Square will return to Fort Gardens, featuring traditional games, a helter skelter, ferret racing and pony rides.
Live music on the bandstand will include Fiddle Fit, No Limits Street Band and headline act Rudy Warman and the Heavy Weathers.
Visitors will be able to enjoy local produce at the food stalls and quench their thirst at a Pimm’s Bar.
The event kicks off at noon on Saturday, July 23.
