20-year-old man dies in M25 crash near Dartford

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a 20-year-old man was killed in a car crash near Dartford yesterday evening.

Police believe a blue Ford transit van rolled over after smashing into a crash barrier. The accident took place on the the London-bound carriageway of the A2 slip road for the M25 at around 10pm on Wednesday November 22.

A second man suffered minor injuries and was treated by paramedics. The 20-year-old died at the scene and his next of kin have been made aware.

One person has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and remains in police custody.

South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed it had deployed an air ambulance, in addition to two ambulances and two cars to the accident.

A spokesperson said: “Just after 10pm we received a call reporting a road traffic collision.

“Despite the efforts of the crew and fellow emergency responders one patient was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”
