THE plans for a 43-hectare activity park which will feature top sports facilities are on display until next week.

Details on the Outdoor Activity Park, to be built on the site of the A2, are on show at the Civic Centre, Windmill Street, Gravesend until next Friday.

It follows extensive community consultation last year by Kent County Council into the plans.

The facilities will focus on cycling and skateboarding, with a 1,400sq m pavilion that will host indoor training facilities.

The park can also be used for hosting triathlon events, horse riding, walking and a pre-school cycle play park.

Residents can comment on the proposal to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group, Strategy & Planning Division, Environment & Regeneration Directorate, Kent County Council, 1st Floor, Invicta House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XX.
